When a security camera not connecting to phone issue appears, the cause is usually not the camera itself but a mismatch in Wi-Fi, app permissions, pairing steps, or account setup.

The good news is that most connection failures can be diagnosed by checking a few predictable points before replacing hardware.

Modern home security systems rely on a chain of components: the camera, the router, the mobile app, the cloud service, and the phone’s operating system.
